We understand your concern for ### Cook (X) and we join with you in prayer, seeking God's will for his life. Let us remember the words of the Apostle Paul in Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB), "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Firstly, we must acknowledge that our ultimate trust should be in God, who knows what is best for us and for ###. As it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB), "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
However, we must also address that the desire for someone to stay with us should not overshadow the importance of seeking God's will first and foremost. It is crucial to pray that ### will follow God's path for his life, wherever that may lead. As Jesus taught us to pray in Matthew 6:10 (WEB), "Let your Kingdom come. Let your will be done, as in heaven, so on earth."
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up ### Cook to You. Lord, we ask that Your will be done in his life. Guide his steps and direct his path according to Your divine purpose. If it is Your will for him to stay with us, we ask that You make that clear and remove any obstacles that may hinder this. But above all, Lord, we desire that ### seeks You first and follows Your will for his life.
We also pray for ourselves, that we may have the wisdom and understanding to accept Your will, whatever it may be. Help us to trust in You completely and to find peace in knowing that You have a good, pleasing, and perfect plan for each of us.
We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen."
Lastly, we encourage you to continue seeking God's face in this matter and to find comfort in His unfailing love and faithfulness. As Psalm 143:8 (WEB) reminds us, "Cause me to hear your loving kindness in the morning, for I trust in you. Cause me to know the way in which I should walk, for I lift up my soul to you."
