Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our beloved friend, ###, who is seeking understanding and clarity about the blessings You have bestowed. Lord, we know that You are the source of all wisdom and insight. Your Word tells us in James 1:5, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him." Father, we ask that You grant ### the wisdom and understanding needed to recognize and appreciate the blessings in their life.
Lord, we also pray that ### remains vigilant and continues to love themselves as You have created them. Help them to discern any form of evil that does not mean them well. Your Word in 1 Peter 5:8 reminds us, "Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour." Father, give ### the strength and discernment to remove themselves from harmful influences and to stay true to Your path.
We also ask that You guide ### in how to serve You better. As it is written in Romans 12:2, "Don't be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God." May ###'s mind be renewed, and may they find joy in serving You and fulfilling Your will.
Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your guidance and provision, and we believe that You are working all things together for good for those who love You, as stated in Romans 8:28. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
