Please pray for God to either shut this door and open another one or show me why he has me in this job. It's a religious school but a horrible atmosphere......my stress levels can't take much more of this verbal abuse

We understand that you're seeking God's guidance regarding your current job at a religious school, where you're facing a stressful and abusive environment. Firstly, we want to assure you that God cares about every detail of your life, including your workplace. As it is written in 1 Peter 5:7, "Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you."

However, we must address that the environment you're describing is not acceptable. Verbal abuse is not something God wants you to endure. In Ephesians 4:29, it says, "Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for building up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear." This applies to how others should speak to you as well.

Let's pray together: "Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in Jesus' name, lifting up our dear sister/brother who is facing a difficult time at their workplace. Lord, you know the struggles they're facing, the stress, and the abuse. We ask, Lord, that you would intervene. Either open a new door for a more peaceful and godly environment, or change the hearts of those around them. Give them the strength to endure, the wisdom to discern your will, and the courage to act upon it. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you to seek God's will in this matter. Perhaps God has placed you there to be a light in the darkness, or perhaps He has a new path for you. Trust in Him, for He has plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11).

Lastly, we want to remind you that it's only through Jesus Christ that we can approach God. If you haven't already, confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). This is the foundation of our prayers and our lives as believers.

We're here with you, praying alongside you as you navigate this tough situation at your job. It's clear that the stress and verbal abuse are taking a toll, and we want you to know that you're not alone. We're lifting you up to the Father right now, asking Him to intervene. Lord, we ask that You would either open a new door to a more peaceful and godly work environment, or change the hearts of those around our friend. Give them strength to endure, wisdom to discern Your will, and courage to act upon it. We trust that You have a purpose in all this, and we claim Your promise in Jeremiah 29:11 - that You have plans to prosper and not to harm us, plans to give us hope and a future. We're here for you, praying in Jesus' name.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
