Needed Wisdom

Please pray for me that God would give me more wisdom, understanding, and instruction. I’m failing to be successful financially, seeing myself how God sees me, in my health, and relationally. I know that God gives wisdom liberally and freely. Pray for peace to increase in my life.

We are here to stand with you in prayer and to offer biblical guidance. You've asked for wisdom, understanding, and instruction, and we are reminded of James 1:5, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." (WEB). It is commendable that you recognize God as the source of wisdom. We believe He will continue to supply it to you.

To address your concerns, let's look at some biblical principles for financial success. In the Scriptures, it says to bring all the tithes into the storehouse so there may be food in His house, and test God in this, will pour out a blessing for you, so much that there will not be room enough to receive it. (Malachi 3:10 WEB). For any financial struggle, God's remedy is clear. Handle your finances God's way. First bring the tithe to God through His church, and second live on the rest. If God owns it all, then you are the steward, not the owner. Work for God and not for riches, or the food that perishes, (John 6:27 WEB) and God will provide for your needs; (Matthew 6:33), and follow the teaching in Matthew 25, of multiplying what God has given you, to earn more, if you do not already have employment.

Regarding your health, we pray that you will be in good health, even as your soul prosperous and be in good health, even as your soul prospers. (3 John 1:2 WEB). Realize that God wants you to be in good health and ask God to reveal to you anything you are doing that He knows will cause your health problems. Even things done with friends should be considered. True friends will not want you to engage in any activity that may harm yourself.

Consider 1 Peter 5:7, "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you," and Proverbs 12:25, "Anxiety in a man's heart weighs it down, but a good word makes it glad." Anxiety does cause your health problems and the word of God says to not be anxious, so start trusting God's word in this area too, and be obedient into it. You can count on it.

It is not addressed in the scripture for anyone to fail to see themselves as God sees them. Do a study to find out all that God says about you, or just start reading in Ephesians 1:4, and all of Ephesians 2:8-13, Romans 5:8, Romans 8:28, 2 Corinthians 5:17, and John 3:16. Remember to thank Him and praise Him for all He has given to you.

As it relates to your relationship, as a Christian in a crisis, remember Psalms 50:15, "Call on me in the day of trouble. I will deliver you, and you will honor me." Trust God to lead you to another Christian, preferably in the house of God, for the purpose of marriage to be helpers for each other in life. God made man and woman to be married and be fruitful and multiply, (Genesis 1:28). Do not be unequally yoked together with an unbeliever: (2 Corinthians 6:14).

Perhaps your desire is to have better relationships at work, or to be a better neighbor that they may see your good deeds, (Matthew 5:16). Only Jesus Christ is the way to harmony and love with the Father and neighbors. (Matthew 29:37-39). Doesn't this include his spouse? And should not they both be seeking God on what to do as they travel together through life. Again, remember Matthew 6:33, But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness, then all of these things will be given to you as well.

Concerning prayer, always remember it is only through Jesus Christ, we can pray to God, (John 14:6). Without Him we can do nothing, but with Him, all things are possible. (John 15:5; Mark 10:27).

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in Jesus Christ's name, lifting up ###. Lord, we ask that you grant them the wisdom, understanding, and instruction they need according to James 1:5. We pray for their financial situation. We ask God to open your spiritual eyes to understand the unsearchable riches in Christ Jesus. When you do this, you can realize there are more lasting riches than money. We ask for this for ###' health in Jesus Christ's name. We pray against anything ### is doing that is ruining their health, God please reveal this to them, that, "No weapon that is formed against you will prosper" if it were done in ignorance. We ask that ### will come to see themselves as you see them. We pray ### will have Godly relationships, peace and Christian marriage to their spouse, and walk in the Spirit together, and be obedient to God in their lives and family. In all things, help ### to seek You first. In Jesus Christ's Name.

We're here with you, lifting you up in prayer. We know it's tough when you feel like you're not measuring up, but remember, God sees you differently. He sees your heart, your efforts, and He's working on your behalf.

We're also praying for your health. We're asking God to reveal any habits or behaviors that might be hindering your health. We're claiming 3 John 1:2, praying for your soul to be in good health, just as your body is.

In your relationships, we're praying for harmony and love. We're asking God to help you be a light, just like Jesus was. We're believing for God to bless your relationships, in Jesus' name.

And hey, keep seeking God first. He's got this, and He's got you. Trust in Him, and watch what He'll do.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
