We understand your plea and stand with you in prayer, dear friend. Let us first remember the words of our Lord Jesus Christ in John 15:18-19 (WEB), "If the world hates you, you know that it has hated me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love its own. But because you are not of the world, since I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you."
Let us pray:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your divine protection for our dear brother/sister. They have faced persecution for over 20 years, and we ask that You surround them with Your angels, shielding them from all harm. We claim Your promise in Psalm 34:18 (WEB), 'Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit.'
Father, we also ask that You send true Christians to support and uplift our dear friend. May they be encouraged through fellowship, as written in Hebrews 10:25 (WEB), 'not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.'
Lord, we humbly ask for Your provision. Meet their needs of food, clothing, and shelter. We trust in Your promise in Philippians 4:19 (WEB), 'My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.'
We also plead for Your healing touch upon their body. May they be restored in health, so they can serve You with all their strength. As it is written in Jeremiah 30:17 (WEB), 'For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh.'
Lastly, Father, strengthen their heart and mind. Help them not to give up but to keep their faith and hope in You. Remind them of Romans 8:18 (WEB), 'For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which will be revealed toward us.'
We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen."
We encourage you, dear friend, to keep your faith in Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we can overcome the world (John 16:33). Stay strong in the Lord, and remember that He is always with you.
