We are deeply saddened to hear about the persecution you've experienced, especially from fellow born-again Christians. We stand with you in prayer, seeking God's comfort, justice, and healing in your life. Let us remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 5:10-12 (WEB), "Blessed are those who have been persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for the Kingdom of Heaven is theirs. Blessed are you when people reproach you, persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven. For that is how they persecuted the prophets who were before you."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother/sister who has experienced great harm and injustice. Lord, we pray for Your healing touch upon their body, soul, and spirit. Comfort them with Your love and reassure them of their value and identity in Christ. We pray for justice to be served, and for those who have committed these wrongs to be brought to repentance. Help our brother/sister to forgive, as Jesus forgave those who persecuted Him. Restore their joy, Lord, and help them to continue walking holy and in the Spirit, despite the adversity they've faced. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to hold fast to your faith and continue to walk in righteousness. Remember the words of Romans 8:35-37 (WEB), "Who will separate us from Christ’s love? Will tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? Even as it is written, 'For your sake we are killed all day long. We were accounted as sheep for the slaughter.' No, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us."
Lastly, we want to remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God. If you haven't already, ensure that you are firmly rooted in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, as He is the one who saves us, redeems us, and intercedes for us before the Father.
