We are deeply saddened to hear about the mistreatment you've experienced, especially from those who claim to be born-again Christians. We stand with you in prayer and truth, seeking God's will according to His Word.
Firstly, let's address the abuse you've endured. The behavior of these individuals is not in alignment with the teachings of Jesus Christ. In Ephesians 4:32 WEB, it is written, "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." Their actions are not reflective of a heart changed by the love of Christ.
In Romans 12:17-19 WEB, we are instructed, "Repay no one evil for evil. Respect what is honorable in the sight of all men. If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men. Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'" We encourage you to not retaliate, but to trust God to bring justice.
Let us pray together:
"Dear Lord Jesus, we come before You, grieved by the pain and suffering our brother has endured. We pray for his physical healing, that You would restore his body from the damage inflicted upon him. We also pray for his emotional and spiritual healing, that You would comfort him and remind him of Your unfailing love.
Lord, we ask for Your protection. Shield him from further harm and surround him with Your angels. We ask that You would guide him to a safe place, away from those who seek to do him harm.
Lord Jesus, we also pray for those who have committed these evil acts. We ask that You would convict their hearts and bring them to true repentance. If they are truly born-again, we pray that they would act in accordance with Your Word. If they are not, we pray that they would come to a genuine saving faith in You.
Lastly, Lord, we pray that our brother would find strength and encouragement in You. Remind him of Your promise in Romans 8:35-37 WEB, 'Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Could oppression, or anguish, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? Even as it is written, 'For your sake we are killed all day long. We were accounted as sheep for the slaughter.' No, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.'"
Brother, continue to trust in the Lord and stand firm in your faith. Remember, it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we can be saved and have access to God. We encourage you to keep declaring this truth and to remain steadfast in your faith, knowing that God is your defender and protector.
