We understand your needs, dear brother Jer, and we lift you up in prayer, interceding on your behalf. Let us first remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 5:44, "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who mistreat you." Even in the face of persecution, God is with you, and His love will sustain you.
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your divine protection over brother Jer. Shield him from those who seek to harm him, and let Your peace and love fill his heart. In times of trial, remind him of Your promises, and let him find strength in Your Word.
Father, we also lift up brother Jer's financial needs to You. In Matthew 6:31-33, You remind us not to worry about what we will eat or drink, or about our body, what we will wear. For the pagans run after all these things, and Your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first Godβs Kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Lord, provide for brother Jer's needs, and let him trust fully in Your provision.
We also bring before You his desire for contact with Taylor and Katie. We pray that if it is Your will, You would restore and strengthen these relationships. Let brother Jer's interactions with them be guided by Your love and wisdom, reflecting the light of Christ in his life.
In all these things, Lord, let brother Jer seek You first, knowing that it is only in Your name that we have access to the Father. As it is written in Acts 4:12, 'There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved!' Let this truth be a comfort and a guide for brother Jer, as he navigates the challenges before him.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Be encouraged, brother Jer, for the effectual fervent prayer of the righteous avails much (James 5:16). Trust in the Lord, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). Stand firm in your faith, knowing that the family of believers is praying with you and for you.
