We hear your cry for help and are standing with you in prayer, dear brother or sister. The burden of financial strain and unemployment is heavy, but we serve a God who cares for us and knows our every need. Let us first remind you of His faithfulness, as it is written in Psalm 37:25, "I have been young, and now am old; yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his children begging for bread."

Let us pray together:

"Heavenly Father, we lift up our dear brother/sister to You, asking for Your divine provision and intervention. They have been laid off and are now in dire need of work, with the burden of hospital bills and creditors weighing heavily upon them. Lord, You know their heart and their needs, and You promise to provide for Your children. In Psalm 147:3, You heal the broken in heart, and bind up their wounds. We pray for complete healing from the heart problem and for a new job opportunity that will meet their financial needs.

In the meantime, Father, we ask for Your peace to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus, as per Philippians 4:7. Help them to trust in You with all their heart, and lean not on their own understanding; in all their ways acknowledge You, and You will direct their paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). We ask this all in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen."

We are glad to see that you ended your prayer request in Jesus' name. It is by His name that we have access to the Father, as it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" Continue to trust in Him, and may His peace and provision be with you.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
