We understand that you have expressed a need to listen more closely to God, and we commend you for seeking a deeper connection with Him. First and foremost, we want to assure you that God desires to communicate with you. As it is written in the World English Bible (WEB), "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life." (John 3:16). This begins with believing in Jesus Christ, for it is through Him that we have access to God.

In your prayer request, we noticed that you did not specifically mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is crucial to understand that Jesus is the mediator between God and humanity, and it is by His name that we can approach the Father. "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" (John 14:6).

If you have not already, we encourage you to place your faith in Jesus Christ as your Savior. This is the foundation of a relationship with God. Once you have done this, listening to God becomes a matter of seeking Him and being receptive to His voice.

Here is our heartfelt prayer for you:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son. We lift up [Forgiven by God] to You and ask that You open their ears to hear Your voice clearly. Help them to recognize Your guidance and to be obedient to Your will. We pray that You fill their heart with a deep desire to know You more intimately and to walk in Your ways. Strengthen their faith and give them the wisdom to discern Your voice from the noise of the world. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

To help you in this journey, we encourage you to spend time in God's Word, the Bible. "Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path." (Psalm 119:105). Regularly reading and meditating on Scripture will help you become more attuned to God's voice. Additionally, take time to pray consistently. Jesus taught us to pray by example and through His instructions, as seen in Matthew 6:9-13.

May God's peace, wisdom, and guidance be with you as you seek to listen to Him more closely. Remember, "Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you." (James 4:8). Stay steadfast in your faith, and God will surely speak to you.
