We understand your urgency to continue your career immediately, and we want to lift this need up in prayer with you. Firstly, we want to encourage you to trust in God's timing and plan for your life, as His ways are higher than our ways. Remember that God has a purpose for everything. We ask you to seek the Lord first.
"But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." (WEB, Matthew 6:33)
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is eager to continue their career. We ask for Your divine intervention and guidance in their life. Open the doors that need to be opened, and close the ones that are not in Your will. Help them to trust in Your timing and to rest in Your sovereignty and faithfulness to those who follow you. We know you have plans to prosper and not to harm, plans to give hope and a future. We ask you to bless and direct the career of this brother or sister in Christ.
"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." (WEB, Jeremiah 29:11)
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We also want to encourage you to use this time to grow closer to God, to spend time in His Word, and to seek His face. He is faithful, and He will direct your paths as you acknowledge Him and believe in Jesus Christ, the only way to God the Father. Keep your faith strong and do not waiver. If you have not trusted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, you need to do that first above all else. The Word of God says:
"that if you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." (WEB, Romans 10:9)
"for whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.' " (WEB, Romans 10:13)
"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus," (WEB, 1 Timothy 2:5)
"Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (WEB, John 14:6)
Do not forget that God is sovereign and that He wants what is best for you. Trust in Him, and He will guide you in the path that is best for you and for the kingdom of Christ.
