We understand that you're struggling with insomnia and need sleep to function well at work. We're here to pray and encourage you.
Firstly, we want remind you about the promise in the name of Jesus. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, and it is only through His name that we can be saved. As it says in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Now, let's turn to God's Word for comfort and guidance. In Psalm 127:2 WEB, it says, "It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows; for he gives sleep to his beloved." This verse reminds us that God is the one who grants us sleep, and He cares for us as His beloved.
In Matthew 11:28-30 WEB, Jesus says, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is struggling with insomnia. We ask for Your divine intervention, that You would grant them the sleep they need to function well at work. Help them to rest in Your promises and find comfort in Your presence.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we rebuke any spirits of anxiety, restlessness, or insomnia that may be troubling them. We pray for peace and the ability to sleep well.
Lord, help our beloved to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to trust in God's care for you and to cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you (see 1 Peter 5:7 WEB). Also, consider reading Psalm 23 and meditating on the peace and rest that God provides. Make sure to keep your thoughts focused on Jesus and His promises.
