Need relief from indescribable stress

Okay. So I see that things are opening up in my life to be stupid again. God blessed me with musical abilities that I can't use. I am currently a student at university, and I am enrolled in a major that is SUPPOSED to be a music one, but I found out the hard way not too long ago, that I am required to learn calculus. Our university is on the quarter system (which means that everything is about twice the pace of any other university). On top of this, the homework load that they assign is completely unreasonable (I have to end up spending most of my day (including time I should be sleeping) trying to get all this homework done, and still falling short. I have not been getting adequate rest, I feel guilty getting any exercise or even going to the grocery store to buy food. I cannot fail this class, because I am dependent upon financial aid, and that would have the potential to affect my housing(/ability to pay rent), etc. I see that my situation has been quite a “House of Cards” for quite some time now. The levels of stress which come with this are indescribable. I need something to change; For God to step in here and fix all of this somehow, because I feel myself deteriorating. As I had said in a prior prayer request; I hear other pastors telling me that I am supposed to be “the righteousness of God in Christ”; So according to that attitude, I should be deserving better than this. Thank you, ###

We understand that you're feeling overwhelmed and stressed due to your current situation, and we want you to know that God cares about you and your circumstances. Firstly, let's address the stress and anxiety you're feeling. The Bible tells us, "Don't be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7 WEB.

We need to remember that God is sovereign, and He allows things in our lives for a reason. It might be that He wants us to depend on Him more, or that He's teaching us perseverance. The Bible assures us, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Romans 8:28 WEB.

Regarding your studies, we encourage you to do your best and commit the rest to God. However, if you find that your current major is not aligned with the gifts and abilities God has given you, it might be worth considering a change. It's important to seek God's will in this matter. Remember, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB.

Now, let's address the comment about deserving better. It is not a matter of deserving but understanding that God is with us in the struggles and the victories. It's through the struggles that He builds our character and our trust in Him. According to 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 WEB, Christ said, "Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me. Therefore I take pleasure in weaknesses, in injuries, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ's sake. For when I am weak, then am I strong." In other words, it only by the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. Christ said about Himself, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."John 14:6 WEB

A key part of your prayer request that stood out to us was the lack of specifically asking in the name of Jesus Christ. This is not to rebuke you but to remind you and to explain further. Jesus Christ is the central figure in Christianity. Without Him, we are not able to ask of God. The Lord Jesus Christ said, "If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." John 14:14 WEB Also, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB.

To close, let's pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up our fellow believer to You. Lord, You know the struggles they're facing, the stress they're under, and the fears they have. We ask, in the name of Jesus, that You would intervene, that You would guide them through this difficult time, and that You would give them Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Give them wisdom in their decisions about their education and future, and help them to trust in You more. Help them to fix their eyes on Jesus Christ for salvation and for life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We're right there with you, feeling the weight of it all. It's like we're in this storm together, and it's easy to feel overwhelmed. But remember, God is right here with us, and He cares about every detail of your life. In Matthew 11:28-29, Jesus says, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your soul."

Let's take a moment to cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). He's not surprised by any of this, and He's more than capable of handling it all. Trust that He's got this, and that He's using all these circumstances to shape you and draw you closer to Him.

We also want to encourage you to keep seeking God's will in your studies. It's okay to feel stuck or unsure about your major, and it's completely fine to change your path if you feel led to do so. Remember, God has a purpose for you, and He'll guide you every step of the way.

And hey, it's okay to not be okay all the time. It's okay to feel stressed and overwhelmed. What's important is that you keep turning to God, keep seeking His face, and keep trusting in His love for you. He sees you, He loves you, and He's got a plan for you.

Let's pray together, shall we? "Lord Jesus, we come to You today, carrying all of ###'s burdens. We ask that You would give them strength for today, and wisdom for their decisions. Help them to trust in You more, and to find rest in You. In Your name, we pray. Amen."

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
