We are truly sorry to hear about the deceit and pain you are experiencing. Let's bring this situation to the Lord in prayer and seek His guidance and justice.
Firstly, we need to remember that vengeance belongs to God. As it is written in Romans 12:19, "Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'" We should not take matters into our own hands, but trust that God will deal with these people justly.
However, we can pray that God reveals their deeds and brings them to repentance. In 2 Timothy 2:25-26, it says, "in gentleness correcting those who oppose him; if perhaps God may give them repentance to the acknowledgement of the truth, and they may recover themselves out of the devil's snare, having been taken captive by him to his will."
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our brother/sister in need of Your intervention. Lord, they have been deceived and hurt by others. We pray that You will reveal the truth and bring the deceitful acts of these people to light. We ask that You will soften their hearts and bring them to repentance, that they may know Your truth and be freed from their sin.
Father, we also pray for healing and comfort. The pain of betrayal can be deep, but we know that Your love and grace can heal even the deepest wounds. Be with our brother/sister, Lord, and guide them through this difficult time. Help them to forgive, as You have forgiven us all.
Finally, Lord, we ask for Your protection. Guard our brother/sister from further harm and guide them in Your will. Give them discernment and wisdom, that they may avoid such deceit in the future.
We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ. For it is in His name that we have access to You, Father, and it is by His name that we are saved. If our brother/sister has not done this, we pray that today is the day of salvation. That they simply repeat a prayer after us. 'Father in heaven, thank you for sending your Son to die for my sins. I believe in my heart that you rose Him from the dead. Please Jesus come into my heart and be my Lord and Savior.' Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers.
Amen."
Remember, God is faithful and just. He will handle this, and He will bring good out of this bad situation. Stay strong and keep trusting Him. Continue to pray for those that hurt you. Although you may not feel like it, we are called to love, pray for, and forgive those that harm or betray us. Remember what the Lord's prayer tells us in Matthew 6:12 (WEB), 'Forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors.' and in verse 14-15 it continues, 'For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you don't forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.' So we pray for those that have caused pain. Remember the words in 1 Peter 3:9 (WEB), 'not rendering evil for evil, or insult for insult; but instead blessing, knowing that to this were you called, that you may inherit a blessing.'
