We understand that you are facing a challenging time with your upcoming back surgery and the pre-op testing. It's natural to feel anxious, but we want to remind you that God's perfect love casts out fear 1 John 4:18 WEB:
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear has punishment. He who fears is not made perfect in love.
Firstly, we notice that you started your prayer with 'Father' and then mentioned 'Jesus', which is good and shows you are addressing your prayers to God. But, we want to emphasize the importance of praying in Jesus' name. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, the Father. In John 14:6 WEB Jesus said:
Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
Also, in John 14:13-14 WEB Jesus said:
Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it.
Remember that God is always with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you. In Hebrews 13:5 WEB God said:
...for he has said, I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you.
We pray that God will grant you peace, that His presence will comfort you, and that you will have a successful pre-op testing. We pray that the medical staff will be guided by God's hands, and that your surgery will be a success. We pray that you will put your trust in God, that you will not be worried or anxious, and that you will have a smooth recovery.
Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our dear brother/sister who is in need of Your healing touch. We pray for a successful pre-op testing and surgery, and we ask that You will grant them Your peace that surpasses all understanding. We rebuke the spirit of fear and anxiety, and we ask that You will fill them with Your love and courage. We pray for Your will to be done in their life, and we ask that You will use this situation to draw them closer to You. We ask for a successful surgery and quick recovery. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue trusting in God, and to lean on Him for strength and courage. Remember that God is in control, and that He loves you more than you can ever imagine. We will continue to pray for you, and we ask that you keep us updated on your journey.
Also, remember that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28 WEB God can use this situation to teach you, draw you closer, and work out good from this situation. So, keep the faith.
