We are joining you in prayer for your son, dear friend. It is wonderful to hear that he has started attending church again, for the word of God reminds us, "Donβt be deceived. Evil companionships corrupt good morals." (1 Corinthians 15:33 WEB)
Let us pray that God will open his heart and mind to receive Jesus Christ as his Savior. "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation." (Romans 10:9-10 WEB)
We pray, Heavenly Father, for this young man whose mother seeks Your intervention. Open his heart to Your truth and fill him with the Holy Spirit. Surround him with godly influences, friends who will encourage him in righteousness and lead him closer to You. Protect him from the snares of addiction and restore him in Your mercy. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Encourage your son to seek fellowship among believers. "Iron sharpens iron; so a man sharpens his friendβs countenance." (Proverbs 27:17 WEB) As he grows in faith, let him understand that true change comes from the inside out, through the transforming power of the Holy Spirit. "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new." (2 Corinthians 5:17 WEB)
May the Lord grant him the strength to overcome his past and walk in newness of life. We stand with you in faith, believing that God is able to change his life path for good. "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me." (Philippians 4:13 WEB)
