Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up Dewren's husband to you. We pray for your divine intervention in his life, especially in regards to his state of depression and anxiety. Lord, we ask that you would bring peace to his troubled mind and heart. Your Word says in Philippians 4:6-7, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." We claim this promise over Dewren's husband's life, that your peace which surpasses all understanding would guard his heart and mind.
Father, we also lift up his struggle with insomnia and lack of sleep. We ask that you would grant him restful sleep, as your Word says in Psalm 4:8, "In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety." We pray that you would remove any hindrances or disturbances that prevent him from experiencing a good night's rest. We ask for your supernatural touch to bring healing and restoration to his sleep patterns.
Lord, we pray that you would alleviate his worries and anxieties. Your Word reminds us in 1 Peter 5:7 to cast all our anxieties on you because you care for us. We ask that you would help him surrender his worries and burdens to you, knowing that you are his loving and caring Father who will provide for all his needs.
We thank you, Lord, for your faithfulness and for hearing our prayers. We trust in your power to bring peace, rest, and freedom from anxiety to Dewren's husband. May your Holy Spirit fill him with your peace that surpasses all understanding. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
