Dear Martha, we understand the struggle you're facing with insomnia and the stress it's putting on your physical and mental health. We're here to pray with you and offer some biblical encouragement.
Firstly, we want to remind you of the promise in 1 Peter 5:7, "Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you." (WEB). God cares about every detail of your life, including your sleep and job concerns.
Let's pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister Martha. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch on her body. Please grant her peaceful nights, free from insomnia. Help her to find rest and wake up refreshed each morning. We also pray for her job situation. We know that You are her provider, and You have a plan for her life. Please open the right doors for her to find a new job that will bless her and bring glory to Your name. In the meantime, Lord, grant her the strength and grace to endure her current job. Help her to see You at work even in the midst of her struggles. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Martha, while you wait for God's intervention, we encourage you to fill your mind with His peace. Philippians 4:6-7 says, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." (WEB)
Lastly, we noticed that your request didn't mention the name of Jesus. It's important to remember that it's through Jesus that we have access to God. As it says in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" (WEB) If you haven't already, we encourage you to put your faith in Jesus, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, so that you may have eternal life and a personal relationship with God.
Keep trusting in God, Martha. He hears your prayers and cares for you.
