We are glad to join you in prayer for your mum's citizenship test, Nay1. It's encouraging to see that you have faith in the power of Jesus' name, as it is written, For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB.
First, let us remember that God cares about every aspect of our lives, including our earthly citizenship. However, our ultimate citizenship is in heaven, as Philippians 3:20 WEB reminds us: For our citizenship is in heaven, from where we also wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Nay1's mum as she prepares for her citizenship test. Lord, You know the plans You have for her, plans to prosper her and not to harm her, plans to give her hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11 WEB.
We ask that You grant her wisdom and understanding as she studies and prepares. Help her to recall the information she needs at the right time. Calm her nerves and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Philippians 4:7 WEB.
Lord, we also pray for the test administrators, that they would be fair and just. We ask that Your will be done in this situation, and that You would open the door for Nay1's mum to gain citizenship if it is according to Your purposes.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Nay1, continue to trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB. Encourage your mum to do the same.
We are also reminded to Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6:33 WEB.
Also, we are reminded to Pray without ceasing. 1 Thessalonians 5:17 WEB.
