We join you, Nay1, in lifting up your mother before the throne of grace, trusting in the power of Jesus' name.
Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging the power of Jesus is needed. We remember that He will do great things in our midst and to God be the Glory. For the weapons of our warfare are not physical but are mighty before God for the destruction of His foes. For we are destroying sophisticated arguments and every exalted and proud thing that sets itself up against the true knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought and purpose captive to the obedience of Christ, the Messiah. Our governor, whether he was directed to it or not, will keep the name of Christ in his every thought. Patience is essential, so wait for the victory of the Lord.
In all things, we must trust God and seek God's will. We remember and think on:
*Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this:* (Psalm 37:5 WEB)
For your Citizenship test tomorrow: *Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.*(Philippians 4:6 WEB)
*Pray without ceasing* (1 Thessalonians 5:17 WEB)
*Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.*(Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB)
We pray that God grants your mother a sound mind and self-control tomorrow. Instead of the spirit of fear fear coupled with timidity ands the lack of mental discipline, may the Holy Spirit fill your mother with peace trusting God.
*May God not give us a spirit of fear, but of Power, love, and a sound mind* (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB)
*May discernment and discretion protect you, understanding will keep and guard you, to keep you from the evil way, from the perverse or crooked person who speaks twisted or distorted words*. (Proverbs 2:11-12 WEB)
We feel blessed to join you in praying for God's will to be done in your mother's life. We thank God the Father for hearing our prayers.
Again we remind, the Lord will fight for you while you keep silent. God said, *Do not be afraid nor be dismayed ... the battle is not yours but Gods* (2 Chronicles 20:15 WEB) This means God's battles are not yours.
May God fill your mother with immeasurable peace. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
