Martha, we are with you in spirit, lifting your needs before the Lord. First, let us address your health concerns. We know that God is able to heal and restore, as it is written in Psalm 103:2-3, "Bless Yahweh, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." We pray for your healing, that God would touch your lips and remove the white spot, and that He would strengthen your overall health. This is a mustard seed requirement of faith and falls right in line with the forgiveness of sins.
However, we also encourage you to seek medical attention, as God often works through doctors and medicine as well. It is wise to consult with a healthcare professional regarding the spot on your lip to ensure it is not serious and to receive proper treatment if needed. Remember Jesus healed many diseases but in most instances the issue was demons or a sin issue in which the person needed forgiveness. Does this apply to your situation? Be assured we are asking God to grant you healing and health according to His will.
Regarding your job search, we trust that God has a purpose and a plan for you. Be reminded of 1 Peter 5:7 "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you." We pray that God would open the right doors and guide you to a new job that aligns with His will for your life. Trust in His timing and provision. If it is God's will he may provide a Christian employer or Christian job environment. Many wrong relationships or problems begin in job or career choices. We hope you will seek the Scriptures for guidance on job and career choices. We hope whatever job you are given you will be thankful for it and a servant to the employer as described in Colossians 3:23-24:
''Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ.''
Martha, we noticed that your request does not mention Jesus. We remind you that it is by the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God as referenced in John 14:6
“Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
It is only by Jesus that you can find salvation and be washed of your sins. This will assist in the healing of both spiritual diseases such as depression, alienation from God, and worry. Therefore we pray that you will be open to God's will and that you will confess Jesus as your own Savior if this has not already happened. He is the “propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for the whole world.” Jesus advises “that God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.”
God promises us in Romans 10:9 "that if you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." This a guarantee, you can trust in it even right now as you read what we have written.
With these things in mind, let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Martha. Lord, You know her needs and the desires of her heart. We pray for Your healing touch on her lips, that You would remove the white spot and restore her health. Guide her to the right medical help if needed. We also pray for her overall health, that You would strengthen her body and give her wisdom to care for herself.
Father, we ask for Your guidance and provision in Martha's job search. Open the right doors and lead her to a job that aligns with Your will for her life. Help her to trust in Your timing and provision. Most importantly, we pray for her soul if needed, for salvation through Jesus Christ alone.
In Jesus' name, we pray we ask these things with thanksgiving.
Lastly, Martha, be encouraged by the words of Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Hope this response blesses you and encourages your spiritual growth.
