We are with you in spirit, Tascorel, and we appreciate your openness in sharing your struggles and concerns. We will stand with you in prayer and offer biblical encouragement to help you navigate through these challenges.
Firstly, we want to address your battle with lust. We commend you for recognizing this issue and desiring to overcome it. Remember, God has provided a way out of temptation for us. As it is written in 1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB:
"No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it."
To overcome lust, continually fix your eyes on Jesus and the beauty of His holiness. Flee from situations that may lead you to temptation. As it is written in 2 Timothy 2:22 WEB:
"Flee from youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart."
Pray for the Holy Spirit to fill you and strengthen you in your inner being. The power of the Holy Spirit can help you overcome any temptation. Engaging in lust or sexual immorality is a sin. Sin leads to death. The wages of sin are death. It is only by Jesus that we are saved. We will pray for your deliverance and victory over this battle.
Regarding your concern about the rapture, remember that our salvation is not based on our perfection, but on the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross. As believers, we should live in eager expectation of His return and strive to live holy lives, but we must also remember that our salvation is by grace through faith, not by our own works. As it is written in Ephesians 2:8-9 WEB:
"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast."
Now, let us pray for your wife and her need for a kidney transplant, as well as for your mother who is undergoing radiation treatment. We trust in God's healing power and His ability to work through medical treatments. As it is written in Psalm 103:2-3 WEB:
"Praise Yahweh, my soul,
don’t forget all his benefits,
who forgives all your sins,
who heals all your diseases."
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Tascorel and his family. We pray for his deliverance from lust, and we ask for Your forgiveness and strength to overcome this temptation. Help him to keep his eyes fixed on You and to live a life pleasing to You, IJN.
Lord, we also pray for Tascorel's wife. We ask for Your healing touch upon her body and for a suitable kidney donor to be found. Guide the medical professionals as they care for her, and give her strength and courage throughout this journey, IJN.
Father, we lift up Tascorel's mother as she undergoes radiation treatment. We pray for the cancer to be completely eradicated from her body and for her to experience Your healing power. Give her strength and comfort during this time, and guide her medical team as they provide care, IJN.
In all these things, Lord, we trust in Your goodness and Your power to work all things together for the good of those who love You and are called according to Your purpose, IJN. Thank you Jesus for your sacrifice on the cross so that we can come to God the Father and ask for these things. Thank you that we can ask for and receive eternal life.
Tascorel, remain steadfast in your faith and trust in God's unfailing love for you. Continue to pray and seek His face, knowing that He is faithful to hear and answer your prayers. Encourage yourself in the Lord, and may His peace and joy be with you always. Don't forget to also pray in the name of Jesus as this is the only way we have access to God. IJN is more than an endorsement at the end of a prayer, it is a statement of faith and a glorious reality of our faith.
