A good place to meet friends who care in Christ might be a Celebrate Recovery group held in churches. They have a large group worship and then separate into same sex smaller groups to discuss (addictions, hurts, hang ups) and then have a meal afterward called Cross Talk Cafe to speak more openly. Like AA but with straight God's word Jesus alone is Lord.

I went to a few just for hardships and trails of life. Many of the people have deep understanding and empathy for other's suffering. I still pray for some of them years later. Very relaxed, dignified at least the one I went to.

You still have us on here Feathers. Love and peace and you are not alone. When you post on here you probably have several people at once tuned in to your needs with God Himself. There may be more fellowship here than real churches where people refuse to open up.

Lord hell her find good local friends who love You and are good people. Let her future landlord find a way to make a rental love connection. Let her remember that You NEVER leave her side.

i am not sure if where i now live they have any of these groups but i will look into this...and also ask around my neighborhood too !
