Heavenly Father,
We come before You with hearts full of gratitude and reverence. We lift up this beloved country to You, acknowledging Your sovereignty and divine protection over it. As James61 has reminded us, we recognize Your hand in the preservation of life and the many ways You intervene in our world.
Lord, Your Word tells us in 2 Chronicles 7:14, "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." We humbly seek Your face today, asking for Your forgiveness and healing for our nation.
We thank You for the protection over President Trump and for the ways You have safeguarded leaders in times of peril. We pray that all people would come to realize Your presence and power, acknowledging that You are the one true God. Open the eyes of the nation, Lord, so that we may collectively turn to You in prayer and repentance.
Grant wisdom and discernment to our leaders, and instill in them a heart that seeks after Your righteousness and justice. Proverbs 21:1 reminds us, "The king’s heart is in the hand of the Lord, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will." We trust that You are guiding the hearts of those in authority according to Your perfect will.
Lord, we commit to praying every day for our country, for its leaders, and for a revival of faith among its people. Strengthen us to be vigilant in prayer and steadfast in our commitment to Your Word.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
