Need prayer for my ###-yr old son

My son is very angry with me and his step-dad. I have ### boys with my first marriage. It was a very abusive marriage, emotional more than physical. Also their dad became a horrible alcoholic. My oldest son always got the brunt of his dad's weirdness, more than the other ###.

Me and my now husband, have told him to move. He is very very angry. I love him with all my heart. I worry for him.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up this prayer request on behalf of ### and her son. Lord, we acknowledge the pain and brokenness that has been experienced in their family. We pray for healing and restoration in their relationships, especially between ### and her son.

Father, we ask that you would soften the heart of the son and help him to release his anger and resentment. Bring understanding and forgiveness into his heart, allowing him to see the love and concern that his mother and stepfather have for him. Help him to let go of the pain from his past and embrace a future filled with hope and peace.

Lord, we pray for ### as she carries the burden of worry for her son. Comfort her and give her strength during this challenging time. Surround her with your love and peace, reminding her that you are in control and that you have a plan for her son's life.

We also lift up the other two sons who have been affected by the abusive marriage and their father's alcoholism. Heal their wounds, Lord, and protect them from any lasting effects of their past experiences. Pour out your grace upon them and guide them towards a life filled with love, joy, and purpose.

Father, we pray for wisdom and guidance for ### and her husband as they navigate this difficult situation. Give them the right words to speak and the right actions to take in order to bring about reconciliation and restoration within their family.

We claim the promise in 1 John 5:14-15 that if we ask anything according to your will, you hear us. We trust in your perfect will for this family and we believe that you are able to bring about healing and reconciliation. May your peace and love reign in their hearts and home.
