Need prayer for my addiction

Please help me pray. Every time i get angry or stressed i pick up tobacco. Tobacco has been my go to drug because it helps relieve and reduce my stress and depression. I’ve quit many times it has been so hard to quit. So easy to pick back up. I’m praying for strength to leave tobacco completely alone. I can barely run without being out of breathe. Every where i turn someone is smoking i don’t want to be that someone that’s smoking. I need help I’ve been thru so many obstacles and lessons in life I’m ready to be strong and ask Jesus for help. Ask God to help me. I turn to this site so much because it’s a safety net for me. I feel so secure and safe here for many years. I’m not financially able to donate because my bills take majority of my earnings. As soon as i recieve a financial Blessing that allows me to have extra money to donate I will indeed make it my business to show my appreciation to this wonderful website. Firstly, we commend you for turning to Jesus and asking Him for help. It is only through His name that we have access to God's power and grace. As the Scripture says, "In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace" (Ephesians 1:7, WEB).

Tobacco addiction, like any other, is a form of bondage that God wants to free you from. The apostle Paul encourages us, "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me" (Philippians 4:13, WEB). With God's strength, you can resist the temptation to turn to tobacco when stressed or depressed. Instead, turn to God in prayer, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7, WEB).

Let's pray together:

Heavenly Father, we bring MsJolly before You, asking for Your divine intervention in her struggle with tobacco addiction. Lord Jesus, You have set the captives free, and we claim that freedom for MsJolly. Strengthen her with Your might, Lord, and help her resist the temptation to smoke. Give her healthy coping mechanisms for stress and depression, and surround her with supportive, godly community. In Jesus' name, we rebuke the spirit of addiction and declare MsJolly free. Bless her, Father, with good health and the financial blessings she needs. In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you, MsJolly, to continue turning to God in your struggle. Draw near to Him, and He will draw near to you (James 4:8, WEB). Stand firm in the knowledge that God loves you and wants to help you (Romans 8:31-39, WEB).

Whenever you feel triggered or tempted, call upon the name of Jesus. There is power in His name to break every chain. Also, consider finding a supportive Christian community or accountability partner to walk with you in your journey to freedom.
