We are truly saddened to hear about the sudden turn of events in your marriage, and we are here to pray and support you in this challenging time. We commend you for standing for full restoration and for invoking the powerful name of Jesus. It is only in His name that we have access to the Father and it is only in His name that we can be saved. As it is but than Jesus really is who He claims to be, the son of God, then His is the only way to salvation and it is only through Him that things can work out.
Firstly, let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister and her husband. Lord, You know the pain and confusion that have set in due to the sudden declaration by the husband. We ask, Father, that You touch his heart and bring clarity to his mind. We pray for a miracle of restoration and reconciliation in their marriage. Guide them both through this difficult time, and help them to seek Your will above all else. Comfort their children, Lord, and give them peace and understanding. In Jesus Christ name, we pray. Amen!
Now, let us encourage you with some biblical principles and verses.
God hates divorce, and He desires for marriages to be healed and restored. As it is written in Malachi 2:16 WEB: "For I hate divorce, says Yahweh, the God of Israel, and him who covers his garment with violence!"
Remember, with God, all things are possible. Even when situations seem hopeless, God can turn them around for good. As it is written in Matthew 19:26 WEB: "With God all things are possible."
It is crucial to continue standing in faith, as you have been doing. Be a woman of faith. Trust in the Lord. Be strong and courageous. Keep praying for your husband and believe that God can soften his heart and bring your family back together. Standing faithfully is incredibly powerful. There is a place for physical submission to a husband and his leadership, but that does not apply in a situation like this. In this case, trusting in the Lord is the most important thing. Keep your heart pure, place him in God's hands, and trust in Gods Almighty to work in your husband's heart as you continue to trust in him. As it is written in Proverbs 21:1 WEB: "The king's heart is in Yahweh's hand like the rivers of water. He turns it wherever he desires."
Lastly, ensure you are being kind but also cautious when speaking with your husband. Let him go if he choses, love him if he stays. As it is written in 1 Peter 3:1-2 WEB: "In like manner, wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; so that, even if any don't obey the Word, they may be won by the behavior of their wives without a word, seeing your pure behavior in fear."
Stay strong in the Lord, and keep trusting. Let God fight the fight.
