We are glad to join you in prayer and seek God's will for your new journey in the UK. Firstly, we want to address that the request mentioned moving with a 'partner.' We believe and follow biblical principles, which encourage courtship when considering lifelong marriage rather than using the term partner. We would like to clarify this as you both move forward in your new journey.
We also noticed that the name of Jesus Christ was mentioned at the end of your request. The name Jesus is the only name by which Christians can be saved. Acts 4:12 says: "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved!" Since we have access to God the Father only by the name of Jesus Christ it is essential to address God the Father in the name of Jesus. This will make your prayers more effective rather than just declaring things in His name at the end of your requests.
Now, let's focus on your need for employment. We understand that you both are looking for jobs that will not only pay well but also bring happiness. Remember, God wants us to be content and find joy in our work, as seen in Ecclesiastes 5:19: "Everyone also to whom God has given wealth and possessions, and power to enjoy them, and to accept his lot, and to rejoice in his toil—this is the gift of God."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus lifting up Pragmauroo and their courtship companion to you, asking for your guidance and provision as they search for new jobs in the UK. We want to thank you for the fresh start that you have given them through your mercies. We know that you are more than able to make doors of opportunity to swing open for them. We pray that you will place your ultimate work and plan in to their hands. Please, provide them the right employers who will treat them with the dignity and respect that is due. We ask that you grant them a friendly work environment along with good coworkers. We declare that they will be a blessing to their employer and coworkers along with you providing them a peaceful environment and that good work comes out from their hands. We pray this in Jesus' name. Amen.
Therefore, while praying, for guidance to make a good decision for the new job, remember the words of Proverbs 3:5-6 : " Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and HeGodi will make your paths straight." If they do not have a knowledge of whether their careers will bring joy and blessings, God knows and trusts in Him to supply the guidance they need.
Lastly, as they moved to the UK for a fresh start, remind them of this promise from the WEB translated Isaiah 43:19: "See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up. Don’t you know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert. Continue giving your tithes so that all of the the other truely needy people who are bed ridden and must take care of their own bodily waste hourly can continue receiving community support.
