We understand that you are in a situation where you are seeking employment and independence, and we are here to pray with you and offer biblical guidance. Firstly, we want to remind you that God is faithful and that He provides for His children. As it is written in Matthew 6:25-34 WEB:
“Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they? “Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan? Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don’t toil, neither do they spin, yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won’t he much more clothe you, you of little faith? “Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don’t be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day’s own evil is sufficient.”
We pray that you will trust in God's provision and that He will open the right doors for you. We ask God: We pray, Father, that you will guide the requester to the job that You have prepared for them. Give them favor in the sight of potential employers, and let your will be done in their life. Help them to trust in You and not be anxious about the future.
However, we also want to encourage you to be proactive in your job search. As it is written in 2 Thessalonians 3:10-12 WEB:
“For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: 'If anyone is not willing to work, neither let him eat.' For we hear of some who walk among you in rebellion, who don’t work at all, but are busybodies. Now those who are such, we command and exhort in the Lord Jesus Christ, that they work with quietness and eat their own bread.”
In addition, as you interact with the family you are currently staying with, we encourage you to be a positive influence and to treat them with kindness and respect. As it is written in Ephesians 4:32 WEB:
“Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you.”
Lastly, we want to emphasize the importance of praying in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB:
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.”
And in Acts 4:12 WEB:
“There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!”
We pray that you will come to know Him as your personal Lord and Savior if you have not already done so. We thank you for submitting this request.
