We understand that you are in a challenging situation, Nochaeld, and we are here to pray with you and offer biblical guidance. You are seeking employment, specifically a remote job, as a U.S. citizen living in the Philippines. You mentioned that you are a new dad, which brings additional responsibilities and a need for stable income.
Firstly, we want to commend you for including "IJN" in your request, acknowledging that it is in Jesus' name that we pray and have access to God. It is only through Jesus Christ that we can approach the throne of grace with confidence.
In all things, we are called to trust in God and seek His will. Remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:31-33 (WEB): "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
God is our provider, and He knows our needs. In your job search, trust that God has a plan and a purpose for you. He can open doors that no one can shut.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Nochaeld and his family. Lord, You know their needs and the challenges they are facing. We ask that You guide Nochaeld to the right job, one that will provide for his family and use his skills and education. Give him wisdom and discernment as he searches and applies for jobs.
We also pray for his family, that You would provide for their needs and give them peace and joy in this season. Help Nochaeld to be a godly father and husband, leading his family in Your ways.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
In addition to praying, we encourage you to be proactive in your job search. Update your resume, tailor your applications to each job, and network professionally. Consider also the words of 2 Thessalonians 3:10-12 (WEB): "For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: 'If anyone is not willing to work, neither let him eat.' For we hear from some who walk among you disorderly, that they don't work at all, but are busybodies. Now those who are that way, we command and exhort in the Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread."
Lastly, we want to address the situation you mentioned about being denied unemployment insurance. While it is frustrating, we are called to trust in God's sovereignty. He is in control, even when things don't go as we hope. Use this experience as an opportunity to trust God more and seek His will.
We are here for you, Nochaeld. Keep trusting in God and keep seeking His will.
