We understand that you're facing a significant financial challenge, and we want to lift you up in prayer and provide biblical encouragement. Firstly, we want to address that the prayer mentioned does not include the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to God the Father.
There is no other name under the heavens given among men by which we must be saved. To be saved, we must first believe in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. We would be remiss if we did not point this out.
We know that God cares about your needs and your family's well-being. Remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:25-34 (WEB):
Therefore I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they? Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan? Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don't toil, neither do they spin, yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won't he much more clothe you, you of little faith? Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.
But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient.
Let's pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is facing financial difficulties. We know that you are a loving and caring Father who provides for His children. We ask for Your provision, that You would open doors for a new job and supply the needs of our brother's/sister's family. We also pray for their peace and joy during this time, that they would not be anxious but trust in Your goodness. Help them to seek Your Kingdom first, knowing that You will provide all they need. We thank you for the blessings you have given them thus far, and we trust you, God, for a good outcome.
We rebuke the spirit of fear, anxiety, and depression in the name of Jesus Christ. We speak peace, joy, and hope over their life. We continue to pray for their continued salvation, faith, and a continued belief in Jesus Christ. We thank you, God, for their continued prayers and the hope they have in Christ Jesus.
We ask in Jesus Christ's name. Amen.
