We are grateful that you have come with a repentant heart, seeking forgiveness from the Lord. It is wonderful that you acknowledge your need for forgiveness and that you have forgiven others. This is in line with what Jesus taught us: For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses(WEB Matt 6:14-15).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you with Tan Popatas, asking for your mercy and forgiveness. We confess that we have sinned and fallen short of your glory, and we ask that you would forgive us, just as you have promised in your word: If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (WEB 1Jo 1:9). This is all by the blood and in the name of Jesus Christ.
Father, we also pray for Tan Popatas, that you would fill them with your love, and that they would be rooted and grounded in love (WEB Eph 3:17). Help them to understand the width, length, height, and depth of the love of Christ (WEB Eph 3:18), and to know this love that surpasses knowledge (WEB Eph 3:19). Help them to be filled with all the fullness of God (WEB Eph 3:19).
We ask that you would help Tan Popatas to walk in love, as Christ also loved us and gave himself for us (WEB Eph 5:2). Help them to be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave us (WEB Eph 4:32). Father, give supernatural grace, mercy, and peace to Tan Popatas. And we also receive your forgiveness in Jesus name today. We ask forgiveness of every sin, both in our past and any possible future sin. We want to live a holy and righteous life now and forever by the grace of God and Jesus Christ. We all need this.
We thank you and ask these things in Jesus' saving name, Amen.
We encourage you to continue to walk in forgiveness, both in receiving God's forgiveness and in extending forgiveness to others. Remember that God's mercies are new every morning, that God will remember your sins no more, and that God has cast them into the depths of the sea. We also encourage you to help others find healing from, sorrow, guilt, grudges, malice, bad memories, physical abuse, emotional abuse, regret, sadness, and pain by serving, loving, encouraging, having compassion, and forgiving others just as God has forgiven you. Continue to trust in the love and forgiveness of God, and seek to live a life that is pleasing to him. Turn from wicked sin and wicked living. Seek the kingdom of God. Jesus is the only way to be saved. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved. By this will we be judged. We will all stand before the judgement seat of Christ. Let us all prepare for this judgement. God bless you as you continue to walk by faith in Jesus by the grace of Jesus.
