We are truly sorry to hear about the loss of your sister and the pain you are experiencing. It is important to share and remember our salvation and the benefits of believing Jesus Christ. Grief is a natural process, but we want to encourage you to keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith.
In moments of despair, remember the words of Jesus in John 14:18 WEB: "I will not leave you orphans. I will come to you." He is always with you, even in your darkest hours. Psalm 34:18 WEB reminds us, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 also tells us that Jesus is "the God of all comfort; who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God." He comforts us in our times of need.
It is also important to address that without Jesus, there is no other name by which we can be saved. There is power in the name of Jesus. In John 14:13-14 WEB, Jesus said, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." Jesus also said in John 14:6 that "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." We must rely on the name of Jesus.
Regarding your struggle with mental and physical illnesses, remember that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit. It is important to take care of ourselves both physically and spiritually. Seek medical help if necessary, and trust that God can heal you in His timing.
We pray that God will fill the void left by your sister and be your constant companion. May He heal your broken heart and grant you hope.
Dear Jesus,
We lift up our sister in Christ who is grieving the loss of her sister. We pray that You fill the void in her life and be her constant companion. Heal her broken heart and grant her hope for the future. We ask for Your healing touch on her mental and physical illnesses, that You give her a reason to live and the ability to go on. Comfort her in her grief. We ask this in Your precious name, Jesus. Amen.
