Need help

I've been scammed for ### dollars by a man. On Facebook said he is a doctor at ###. We fell in love. Always sent him money, said he is from ###, bought a house there using my money. Left me homeless with not a penny to my name. Took everything from me. I thought of suicide, had wanted to give up. But I couldn't let him take my soul too. I'm struggling bad. I put everything in this man and not God first. Had lesson to learn. I'm homeless now. Everything gone. I lost everything. I need prayers for God to carry me and take this burden away and to forgive the man. I trusted and had faith and love and beliefs in a man and not God first. What God gives he can take away. Need prayers for strength to go on. Miracles to happen to ask and put God first. Please pray for me.

Firstly, let's address the deception and financial loss you've experienced. The Bible warns us, "Do not be deceived: 'Bad company corrupts good morals.'" (1 Corinthians 15:33 WEB). It's important to discern the character of those we trust and remember that God should always be our first priority.

We commend you for not giving up and recognizing that your soul is precious. Jesus said, "For what will it profit a man, if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?" (Mark 8:36-37 WEB). Your eternal well-being is far more valuable than any material possession.

You mentioned that you put your trust in a man instead of God first. Let's remember the words of Psalm 118:8, "It is better to take refuge in Yahweh, than to put confidence in man." God is the only one who will never fail us, and He wants us to trust in Him completely.

Let us pray for you:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister who has been deceived and experienced great loss. Lord, we ask that You carry her through this difficult time and take this burden away. Grant her the strength to go on, and perform miracles in her life as she puts her trust in You first. Help her to forgive the man who has wronged her, just as You forgive us our trespasses. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you to continue seeking God and trusting in Him. The Bible promises that "God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work." (2 Corinthians 9:8 WEB). Keep your faith strong, and remember that God can turn any situation around for your good (Romans 8:28).

Lastly, we want to emphasize the importance of praying in Jesus' name. As Jesus said, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." (John 14:13-14 WEB). It is through Jesus Christ that we have access to God, and it is in His name that we receive salvation and answered prayers. Keep holding onto Him, and He will see you through.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
