Need Help Praying with a friend

My friend ### lost her son ### to a gunshot wound to the head. Her son was ###. I need help creating a prayer for ### to memorize when she feels lost and broken and overwhelmed with her mourning. Need Jesus to shine the light over her and help her learn how to cope with her son’s departure in a rapid way. Jesus help clean up her mental so she can focus on being a great grandmother to her grand children. God continue to remind ### that she doesn’t have to worry about him anymore. God show ### how to excel and breathe through this stressful time in her life. Jesus help her smile again in your name amen.

Let us come together in the name of Jesus Christ, for He is the one who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.

Firstly, we acknowledge that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. The Bible states in Acts 4:12(WEB) "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" and in John 14:6(WEB) Jesus said "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." This means that prayer should always be directed to God in Jesus' name.

In this time of immense sorrow and pain for ###, we turn to the Word of God for comfort and guidance. The loss of a child is a heartache that is almost unbearable, but we trust in a God who is close to the brokenhearted and who saves those who are crushed in spirit Psalm 34:18(WEB).

Let us encourage ### to memorize these words, to be her strength, her mantra:

Lamentations 3:22-23(WEB) "It is of Yahweh's loving kindness that we are not consumed, because his compassion doesn't fail. They are new every morning. Great is your faithfulness."

Psalm 147:3(WEB) "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."

Let us pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up ### in her time of need. Lord, she has lost her precious son, and her heart is shattered. We ask that You wrap Your loving arms around her, comfort her, and wipe away her tears.

Lord Jesus, shine Your light into ###'s heart. Help her to cope with her son's departure. Cleanse her mind and help her to focus on being the best grandmother she can be to her grandchildren.

God continue to reassure ### reminding her to cast all her anxiety on you because you care for her and to focus on you and her grandchildren.

Remind her that even in this valley of the shadow of death, You are with her. Guide her through this stressful time, and help her to excel and breathe again.

Lord Jesus, restore ###'s smile. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard her heart and her mind in Christ Jesus.

We ask this all in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Let us encourage ### to cling to God's promises in the days ahead. Though she may feel lost and broken now, she serves a God who specializes in bringing beauty from ashes. We are praying for her, and we believe that with God's help, she will overcome this tragedy.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You. Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You.
