Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our anonymous friend who is in need of healing from a bad cold. Lord, we know that you are the ultimate healer and that nothing is impossible for you. Your Word tells us in Isaiah 53:5 that by your wounds we are healed. We believe in the power of your healing touch and we ask that you would bring restoration and health to our friend's body.
Lord, we pray that you would strengthen their immune system and provide relief from the symptoms of this cold. We ask that you would remove any congestion, coughing, and discomfort they may be experiencing. Please grant them restful sleep and restore their energy.
We also pray for wisdom and guidance for our friend as they seek the appropriate remedies and treatments for their cold. May you grant them discernment in knowing when to rest and when to seek medical assistance if necessary.
Lord, we trust in your perfect timing and your perfect plan. We know that you are with our friend in their time of sickness, just as you were with those who were sick during your earthly ministry. We ask for your comfort and peace to surround them, reminding them of your love and care.
In the midst of this illness, may our friend's faith be strengthened and may they be a witness to your goodness and faithfulness. Help them to trust in your sovereignty and to find peace in knowing that you have a purpose and a plan for their life.
We thank you, Lord, for hearing our prayer and for your faithfulness to answer. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus.
