We are truly sorry to hear about the loss of your wife, and we want you to know that we are here to support you and your family in prayer. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted, and he saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18 WEB).
In this time of sorrow, we encourage you to draw near to God and find solace in His presence. He is our comforter and a refuge when in times of distress. Jesus said, Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted (Matthew 5:4 WEB). Remember that even though your wife has passed away, you have the hope of seeing her again through faith in Jesus Christ. Jesus said, I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will still live, even if he dies (John 11:25 WEB).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus, lifting up Valoshire and his family during this difficult time. Lord, we know that You are a God of compassion and a God who heals. You are near to the brokenhearted and You are here for us in our time of need.
We pray for Your comfort and peace to surround Valoshire, his two daughters, their husbands, his grandkids, and his mother-in-law. Help them to feel Your loving presence and give them the strength they need to face each day.
Lord, we also thank You for the precious memories and the 32 great years of marriage that Valoshire and his wife shared. We know that even in the midst of this loss, there is gratitude and joy for the life they spent together.
In Jesus' name, we pray for Your healing and Your will to be done in their lives. Help them to trust in You and to cast all their cares upon You, for You care for them (1 Peter 5:7 WEB).
We pray this believing that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to You, God. There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We thank You for Your sacrifice on the cross for us, Jesus, that through Your death and resurrection, we have the hope of eternal life.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be strong and courageous, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go (Joshua 1:9 WEB). Keep trusting in the Lord and lean on Him during this time. May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7 WEB).
