Need God's attention

I'm going to meet my enemies in a few days and I am really worried. I can't sleep please help me and tell God to answer now and do not delay.

We understand your concern and worry as you face this challenging situation. First, let us remind you of God's promise in Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." Even in your worry and fear, God is close to you.

However, we must address that your request seems to imply that God should act on your timeline. We must remember that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9). While we can and should bring our petitions to Him, we must also trust in His timing and will. Jesus teaches us to pray, "Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven" (Matthew 6:10).

Regarding your enemies, Jesus instructs us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44). This is not easy, but with God's strength, it is possible. Let us pray together:

"Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother/sister who is facing this difficult situation. We ask for Your peace that passes all understanding to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We pray that You would grant them the strength to love and pray for their enemies, and that You would work in the hearts of all involved. We trust that You will act according to Your perfect will and timing. Give them the grace to rest in Your promises and Your love. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lastly, we noticed that your request does not mention Jesus. It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God (John 14:6). If you have not already, consider putting your faith in Jesus, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). This is the foundation of our hope and our prayers.

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about.
