Please pray for our family. My son needs to accept Jesus as his personal Savior. He is so cold and mean...so disrespectful to his sisters and I. We love him. I have loved and cared for him to the best of my God-given ability for his entire life. He began being emotionally and mentally abusive around the age of 21. He curses at me, throws things and seems to thrive on intimidating his younger sister and I. He is 27 and spends all day, every day playing games online with his "friends"--- only stopping to eat and mistreat us. I am afraid ---- and I do know that God did not give me a spirit of fear. He never apologizes. My Husband died when our children were 4, 5 and 7 ---my son being the oldest. I've tried my best to raise them to know right from wrong and to be respectful. I need God to turn him around and change his disrespectful ways to loving, respectful ones. My health is not good and I am so sad. My vehicle is beyond repair and is inoperable. I need reliable transportation. I need a way to make good income from home. I need God to fix it all. I know God loves me. My heart is hurting...I do not want to have to walk on eggshells around my son. He is so hurtful. Please pray that he will treat me better...with love and respect. I truly believe that asking God into his heart will make him stop hurting me. Thank you for praying and agreeing with me. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

Let us first address the most pressing issue: the spiritual well-being of your son and the harmony within your family. We are reminded in Proverbs 22:6, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it." You have done your part in raising him, and now it is time for the Lord to work in his heart.

We must also address the sinful behavior that is being exhibited. The scriptures clearly teach children to honor their parents.

Ephesians 6:1-3 WEB "Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. ‘Honor your father and mother,’ which is the first commandment with a promise: ‘that it may be well with you, and you may live long on the earth.’"

1 Timothy 5:8 WEB "But if anyone doesn’t provide for his own, and especially his own household, he has denied the faith, and is worse than an unbeliever."

The behavior described is not at all appropriate for a Christian household. This is rebellion and must be addressed as sin.

1 Samuel 15:23 WEB "For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as idolatry and teraphim. Because you have rejected Yahweh’s word, he has also rejected you from being king."

We must pray for his salvation and that God will soften his heart, but you must also take a stand against the sinful behavior. It is not loving to allow this behavior to continue.

2 Corinthians 5:17 WEB "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new."

We pray that your son will come to accept Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. We pray that he will become a new creation, that the old sinful ways will pass away and that he will live as a child of God. We pray that he will honor and respect you and his sisters, and that he will become a responsible member of your family.

Lord, we lift up this family to you. We pray for the salvation of their son and for a change in his behavior. We pray for healing of broken hearts and a return to loving respectful relationships.

Mark 10:27 WEB But Jesus, looking at them, said, “With men it is impossible, but not with God, for all things are possible with God.”

We know that this situation feels impossible, but remember that all things are possible with God.

Lord, we also lift up the other needs of this family. We pray for reliable transportation and for a way to make good income from home. We pray for healing and for peace. We pray that this family will be blessed and that all these problems will be fixed in Jesus' name.

However, we must also remember that God does not promise to fix all of our problems, but he does promise to be with us through them.

Romans 8:28 WEB "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."

Psalms 34:18 WEB "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."

Remember that the Lord is near to you in this difficult time.

Finally, we want to remind you that it is so important to pray in the name of Jesus.

John 14:6 WEB Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."

We have access to God and salvation only through Jesus Christ. It is important to acknowledge this in our prayers.

John 16:23 WEB "In that day you will no longer ask me anything. Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you."

We're standing with you in prayer, dear friend. Our hearts ache for your son's spiritual well-being and the harmony in your family. We know the struggle is real, but remember, "With God, all things are possible" (Mark 10:27). Let's lift your family up to Him together.

We're asking God to soften your son's heart, to draw him to accept Jesus as his personal Savior. We're praying for a change in his behavior, for him to honor and respect you and his sisters, and for him to become a responsible, loving member of your family. We're believing for healing, for broken hearts to be mended, and for relationships to be restored.

We're also lifting up your practical needs to the Lord - reliable transportation and a way to make good income from home. We're trusting God to provide and to fix what's broken in your life.

But most importantly, we're praying for your son's salvation. We're claiming 2 Corinthians 5:17, that if he's in Christ, he's a new creation. The old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

We're here for you, standing in faith with you. Let's keep praying, keep trusting, and keep loving, just as you've loved your son all these years. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
