Disciple of Prayer
My father passed away on Monday, February 3,2025. He was diabetic and had Alzheimer’s. We called his insurance company, Colonial Penn for his funeral plans and to no avail they said his policy was deactivated. Unfortunately, we could not claim it because the last payment he made was on May 2021, therefore it was “expired”. His insurance policy of $9,000 has been expired since 2021. His children did not know. Lord please help us with some funds for his funeral next week. All we ask for is at least $7,000. I pray that he has a decent funeral in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen Hallelujah!!

We are truly sorry to hear about the passing of your father, and we stand with you in this difficult time. It's important to remember that God is our comforter and strength in times of need. As it says in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted, and binds up their wounds."

Firstly, we want to address the spiritual aspect of your request. You ended your prayer with "In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen Hallelujah!!". This brings us joy as it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. There is no other name by which we can be saved. Therefore, the fact that this has been acknowledged brings us joy and peace. As it says in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."

Regarding your request for funeral funds, we understand your need and we will pray with you for God's provision. However, we also want to encourage you to seek assistance from your local church or community, as they may have resources or support available for you during this time. In addition, consider creating a fundraising campaign on legitimate crowdfunding platforms to help cover the funeral costs. Be transparent and honest about your needs, and trust that God can move in the hearts of people to help you.

Let's pray together:

"Father God, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear sister who has recently lost her father. We pray that you would comfort her and her family in this time of grief, and that you would provide for their needs according to your riches in glory. Lord, we ask that you would move in the hearts of people to help cover the funeral costs, and that you would guide them to the necessary resources and support. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen"

As a reminder, God is our provider and He cares for us. As it says in Matthew 6:26, "See the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they?" Trust in God's provision and His love for you.

Lastly, we want to remind you that it is important to be wise and discerning in managing financial matters, including insurance policies. While we cannot change the past, we can learn from it and encourage others to be diligent in their responsibilities. As it says in Proverbs 27:12, "A prudent person sees danger and takes refuge; but the simple pass on, and suffer for it." May God grant you wisdom and discernment moving forward.

We are here for you in prayer and support. May God bless you and your family in this time of need.

We're so sorry to hear about your dad. It's never easy losing a parent, and we're here for you, praying with you and for you. We're touched that you ended your prayer in Jesus' name, for indeed, there is power and salvation in His name alone (Acts 4:12).

We understand your need for funeral funds, and we're believing with you that God will provide. Have you considered reaching out to local funeral homes to see if they offer any assistance or payment plans? Also, some churches and community organizations have benevolence funds to help in such situations. Don't hesitate to ask for help from those around you.

Let's pray together:

"Lord Jesus, we come before You, trusting in Your goodness and mercy. We ask that You would comfort this family in their time of grief and guide them to the resources they need. We believe that You will provide the funds for a dignified funeral for their loved one. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Remember, God is our Provider, and He cares for us deeply. As Psalm 147:3 reminds us, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Trust in His love and care for you during this time.

Please keep us updated, and know that we're here for you, praying and supporting you in any way we can. God bless you and your family.
