I am terribly backslidden and in great need of the Lord's forgiveness for sins committed. Please pray that He will forgive me, cleanse me, and restore me in fellowship with Him.

Father you said that if we would repent of our sins that you would be faithful and just to forgive us. I pray father that you would bring this soul back into right relationship with you. Lord you said that we have all sinned and fallen short of your glory. I plead the blood of Jesus over this life. I pray father, that you would grant wisdom and guidance by the power of the Holy Spirit. I praise you God that you are a God of restoration. So I pray that you would touch their heart and purify it. I pray that you will give them a hunger and thirst for righteousness. I pray that they would seek your face, and begin to obey your word In Jesus name I pray. Amen

1 John 1:9 says that "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." However, once you declare it with your lips, you must live out the repentance with your heart. God is always faithful to take back his lost sheep (Luke 15:4-10), it our job to never stray and cling to Him (1 John 3:24). I pray that your relationship with God is not only restored, but made into something better than what it ever was. May you grow in your love for Him, and may you walk with Him always.

Ã…h, Abba Father, I am so happy to hear that he wanto repent to You again, and thank You for making him even stronger in Your entire Holy Word and in The Holy Spirit, so he really can know You as You are....and what is pleasing You or not. Make him to hate and despise everything that will try to take him away from You again, and give him Your Spirit of Godliness and Holiness, in Jesus Name, Amen!
