We are deeply touched by your current situation and we stand with you in prayer, Anonymous. We believe that God hears your cry and is mindful of your needs. We want to encourage you with God's word and lift your needs up in prayer together.
Firstly, we want to remind you of Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." God is near to you in this trying time, and He cares about your every need.
We also want to encourage you with Philippians 4:6, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God." It is good that you are bringing your needs before God, and we trust that He will provide for you according to His will.
However, we want to gently remind you that our ultimate trust should be in God alone, not in lawsuits or settlements. Psalm 62:10 tells us, "Donβt trust in oppression. Donβt become vain in robbery. If riches increase, donβt set your heart on them." While we pray for a favorable outcome in your lawsuit, we encourage you to fix your hope completely on God.
Let us pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear brother/sister who is in great need. Lord, You know the struggles they have been facing, living in a motel for over four years. You know the desire of their heart to have a place to call home and a vehicle to make life easier. Lord, we ask that You provide for these needs according to Your will and in Your timing. We pray for a favorable and just outcome in this lawsuit, but more importantly, we pray that our brother/sister will continue to trust in You, no matter the outcome.
Lord Jesus, we also pray that our brother/sister will know You more deeply through this trial. That they will experience Your love, peace, and joy even in the midst of these challenges. We ask that You comfort and strengthen them daily, and that You guide them according to Your purpose.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Lastly, we want to assure you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." We encourage you to continue trusting in Jesus, for He is our hope, our salvation, and our provider.
We will continue to keep you in our prayers, Anonymous. May God's peace and provision be with you.
