Need encouragement that I did the right thing

Please respond with any word of knowledge The Lord gives you about this......but did I do the right thing?

I've been married many years, but the last almost decade my husband sleeps in another room and is gone almost all the time. Yet I'm still married, right? The vows still apply, right? I know my husband still loves me, but I can't remember the last time we've been intimate....and I believe we've both been faithful despite this. Recently I had an opportunity to ignite a romance with an old flame. He was and is, enticing in every way and we had many opportunities to connect without anyone (except God) knowing. I do miss intimacy but for health reasons my husband isn't able. Question / needing a word of knowledge from The Lord. Did I do the right thing by not acting on any of the old flame's propositions to me? Will God bless me or my family because I've given up a lot to follow God? Did God send my old flame back to me because He knows I've been so terribly lonely. Please pray for me and my family. Thank you.

 Please stay faithful to God's word on the sanctity  of marriage . Yes you did the righteous thing by not acting on  this man's propositions. Im sorry to hear your husband has health related issues that may prohibit him from sexual  activity.  However  true intimacy  has little  to do with sex .

 I would encourage you to talk to your husband  about how you feel  and remain in faith to gospel standards and principles .

Don't betray your husbands trust and love with this other man . You will ultimately destroy your marriage  and your relationship with God .

 Please  do not allow yourself to be used  by someone  who may sense your emotional needs and vulnerability  at this time in your life . If this person was a good  and righteous man who would never have propositioned you in any way at all .

Stay in faith  and ask God to help you communicate lovingly and effectively with your husband . I am praying  for you , In Jesus name amen .
