We understand that you are seeking employment help, and we want you to know that God cares about every aspect of your life, including your work. In fact, the Bible encourages us to work diligently and honestly. Let's examine this verse from Colossians 3:23-24:"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ."
First, let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up Anonymous, who is seeking Your guidance and provision for employment. We ask that You open the right doors and provide a job that not only meets their financial needs but also allows them to use their talents and skills to glorify You. We also know this request honored by Jesus. Keep them from wrongdoing or losing heart.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, God has a purpose for your life. Our biblical coach to Anonymous is the following. Anonymous, be mindful that God will not assist in your lies so you must be diligent to tell the truth in all appointments and filings. We know this to be true from the following quote from Ephesians 4:25: "Therefore, putting away lying, 'Let each one of you speak truth with his neighbor,' for we are members of one another." Doing the will of God serves as the best testimony about God to your employer, which as discussed is a requirement. Doing the right of the lord gets God's attention. We need you to pray through Jesus Christ for Him to intercede for you to strengthen you to help you resist the temptation to lie and to rebel against God being in charge. We have the instruction from John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me'", meaning we have no other choice to seek God through Jesus, every alternative is false and there will be no good outcome from it. God is your strength! Remember, there is no disgrace in honest labor, and God values integrity and hard work from Ecclesiastes 9:10: "Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in Sheol, where you are going."
Lastly, trust in the Lord's timing. He has a plan and a purpose for your life, and He will provide for your needs according to His riches in glory. Continue to seek Him, pray, and trust in His perfect will. God will reward your effort!
