We understand that you are seeking employment before Christmas, and we want to lift up your request in prayer. Firstly, we want to encourage you to trust in God's timing and provision, as He knows our needs before we even ask . Remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:31-33 WEB:
"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you have need of all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
As you seek employment, make sure to seek God first and His righteousness. This doesn't mean sitting at home and waiting for a job to fall from the sky, but rather being proactive in your job search while keeping your focus on God and His will for your life.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this beloved one who is seeking employment before Christmas. Father, You know their needs and desires. Please open the right doors for them and guide their steps in the job hunting process. Help them to trust in Your timing and provision.
Give them the wisdom to seek Your will first and to be patient while waiting for Your answer. Prepare them and get ready to receive a job. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to persevere in prayer and remain optimistic. Keep applying for jobs with a positive attitude, and express yourself as a Christian believer. Make sure in all of your efforts you never lie to get an employer, and never give in to efforts to lie or deceive for gain. Firstly, trust and acknowledge Jesus Christ. We know and believe He is our source of provision. Only because He became poor for our sake, we might become abundantly rich, blessed, and provided for. 2 Corinthians 8:9 WEB "For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that you through his poverty might become rich."
