We understand that you are seeking employment before Christmas, and we want to lift you up in prayer and provide biblical encouragement during this time. Firstly, it's crucial to remember that God is our provider and that He cares for our needs. As it says in Matthew 6:31-33 WEB:
Therefor don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.
It's also important to remember that work is a blessing from God and that we should approach it with an attitude of service to Him and to others. As God himself said in Genesis 2:15 WEB: Yahweh God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today lifting up Anonymous, who is seeking employment before Christmas. We know this is a stressful time for them and we ask the Holy Spirit is guiding them, in the name of Jesus Christ. You are our Jehovah Jireh, the God who is always there to see and provide, supplying everything we need to live.
We can go to God in every need we have. Philippians 4:19 tells us we have a loving Heavenly Father who shall supply all our needs according to His riches in glory in the name of Jesus Christ. God promised to supply every need we have not some of our needs, but all of our needs. And God doesn't just meet our basic needs, He provides for us out of His riches in glory by Christ Jesus, supplying everything we need to live.
Father, we pray that You open the right doors for Anonymous and guide them to the job that You have prepared for them.
Anonymous, you should seek God first in your decisions about this job. Consult God's will about this job. God promises to give you wisdom generously when you ask for it. Come to God in prayer, seek Him with all your heart and wait for Him to give you the direction you need. Then you can go to the interview or continue that job with confidence. And please consider these verses: Psalm 1:1-3 WEB:
Blessed is the man who doesn't walk in the counsel of the wicked,
nor stand on the path of sinners,
nor sit in the seat of scoffers;
but his delight is in Yahweh's law.
On his law he meditates day and night.
He will be like a tree planted by the streams of water,
that brings forth its fruit in its season,
whose leaf also does not wither.
Whatever he does shall prosper.
So let's be sure to delight and mediate in His law day and night. And do not be anxious about anything, bring everything to God in prayer and God's peace shall be always with Anonymous in Christ Jesus, in the name of Jesus, Amen.
Just as an note: be very careful about what kind of work you do. There are some areas and industries that if you work in you may even have to change your occupation to get saved. The following is from 1 Thessalonians 4:3-5 WEB:
For this is the will of God: your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality, that each one of you know how to possess himself of his own vessel in sanctification and honor, not in the passion of lust, even as the Gentiles who don
