We are truly saddened to hear about this man's diagnosis and we stand with him in prayer, crying out for God's mercy and healing.
Firstly let us address the word deliverance. Deliverance can be used in many ways, but in this situation, we will choose healing. In Isaiah 53:5 WEB it says But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was on him; and with his stripes we are healed.
We know God can heal. We also know not our will, but God's will be done. In James 4:2 WEB Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and covet, and can't obtain: ye fight and make war. Yet ye have not, because ye ask not.
We also know the story of King Hezekiah. In 2 Kings 20:1 WEB In those days was Hezekiah sick to death. Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz came to him, and said to him, Thus said Yahweh, Set your house in order; for you shall die, and not live. Hezekiah prayed and God heard him and added 15 years to his life. We also know that being God's will Hezekiah's life ended.
We do have hope. We have a God that cares for us and knows us and calls us by name. We have hope in Jesus Christ. There is no special prayer or special way to get God to hear us. There is no other way to come to God except through the name of Jesus Christ. In Acts 4:12 WEB There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!
Let us pray for this man.
Father in Heaven, Creator of all things, the Great Healer, You know this man by name. He needs healing. We stand with our brother and agree in prayer together, for where two or more are gathered in the name of Jesus, there you are in the midst. We ask that you will remove this cancer and make him whole again. We do not know your will, but we ask for healing. Your word says in Mark 11:24 WEB Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them. We believe you hear our prayers and we thank you for the healing of this man's body. We pray together in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
