Need deliverance from being a hypocrite

I need true saving faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and true repentance. That God will draw me to receive the Lord Jesus because I've been told if he don't draw me then I can't come. I've been more into religion/self-righteousness rule keeping and I need a true love relationship with Jesus. I want the good news to hit me in the right way that it will cause a heart response like others tell me that they love him because he first loved them. I want my eyes to be unblinded that I can truly receive him and to have faith and not go by feelings thinking I'm saved one minute and then the next that I'm not. I've had thoughts telling me to just end it or give up because I'm one that can never be saved and I hate this. It feels like something demonic just constantly tormenting me.

Lealand, we hear your heart's cry for genuine faith and deliverance from hypocrisy. We stand with you in prayer, asking God to draw you closer to Him and grant you true saving faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Let us first address the struggle you're facing. It's important to understand that salvation is not achieved through our own efforts or rule-keeping, but by the grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ. As it is written in Ephesians 2:8-9, "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast."

You mentioned the need for God to draw you, and indeed, it is God who initiates this work in our hearts. Jesus said in John 6:44, "No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him." But remember, God wants all people to be saved (1 Timothy 2:3-4), so we can confidently approach Him, seeking His face.

We rebuke the thoughts telling you to give up or that you can never be saved. These are not from God, but from the enemy who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). Instead, we declare the truth that God loves you and desires a relationship with you. As John 3:16 reminds us, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only born Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life."

Let us pray together:

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we come before You, interceding for Lealand. Lord, we ask that You draw Lealand closer to You. Open his spiritual eyes to see and receive the truth of the gospel. Grant him true saving faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and fill him with the assurance of Your love. Deliver him from the spirit of hypocrisy, self-righteousness, and any demonic torment. Help him to understand that salvation is not a feeling, but a secure position in Christ. Thank You, Lord, for Your unfailing love and mercy. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lealand, continue to seek God and immerse yourself in His Word. As you grow in the knowledge of Jesus Christ, you will experience a heart response of love and faith. Remember, it is by believing in the Lord Jesus Christ that you are saved (Acts 16:31). Stand firm on His promises, and may the peace of God rule in your heart.
