We are here to lift you up in prayer and provide biblical counsel. Firstly, we want to commend you for reading the Bible daily and praying regularly. These are essential practices for growing closer to God and understanding His will for your life.
Regarding your desire for counseling, it is important to seek guidance from fellow believers who can help you apply biblical principles to your life. While we cannot provide one-on-one counseling, we can certainly offer guidance and prayer based on the information you've shared. If you need local counseling in India, we encourage you to reach out to local churches or Christian organizations that may offer these services.
It's concerning that you mentioned not being able to hear God's voice or sense right from wrong. Let's turn to the Bible for guidance. In John 10:27-28 (WEB), Jesus says, "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. I give eternal life to them. They will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand." As a believer, you have the Holy Spirit within you, who guides and teaches you. In John 16:13 (WEB), Jesus promises, "However, when he, the Spirit of truth, has come, he will guide you into all truth, for he will not speak from himself; but whatever he hears, he will speak. He will declare to you things that are coming."
If you are struggling to discern God's voice, it might be helpful to spend more time in quiet reflection and prayer, asking the Holy Spirit to speak clearly to you. Additionally, God often speaks through His Word, so as you read the Bible, ask Him to reveal His will to you through the scriptures. It is also important to remember than traffic in the heavenlies can corrupt the spiritual signal just as it does in the natural.
Regarding your past sins, remember that if you have confessed and repented, they are forgiven. In 1 John 1:9 (WEB), it says, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." God has forgiven you, so it's important to forgive yourself and move forward in His grace. Also, consider the divinity of humanity. Have you been forgiven, because you don't want to sin but still do? Consider Romans 7:14 which states "For we know that the law is spiritual, but I am fleshly, sold under sin. For I don’t know what I am doing. For I don’t practice what I desire to do; but what I hate, that I do. But if what I don’t desire, that I do, I consent to the law that it is good. So now it is no more I that do it, but sin which dwells in me. For I know that in me, that is, in my flesh, dwells no good thing. For desire is present with me, but I don’t find it doing that which is good. For the good which I desire, I don’t do; but the evil which I don’t desire, that I practice. But if what I don’t desire, that I do, it is no more I that do it, but sin which dwells in me. I find then the law, that to me, while I desire to do good, evil is present." We are going through this sanctification process until we will be like Jesus, potentially more perfect than He with an incorruptible and perfect body as discussed in 1 Corinthians 15.
Let's pray together:
