Our dear June merilic, we join you in lifting up your niece Missy and your friend Fay before the throne of grace. We are reminded of the power of prayer and the promise of God's presence with us in times of need. Jesus tells us in Matthew 18:20 (WEB), "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them."
Let us pray together:
"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up Missy and Fay. Lord, You know their needs and the pain they are experiencing. We ask for Your healing touch upon Missy as she undergoes surgery for her gallbladder. Guide the hands of the surgeons and grant her a speedy recovery. For Fay, we pray for relief from her urinary infection. May Your healing power flow through her body and restore her to full health. Comfort both of them during this time, and give them the peace that passes all understanding. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We are also encouraged by the words of James 5:14-15 (WEB), "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."
Trust that God hears our prayers and is faithful to His promises. Continue to stand in faith, knowing that He is the Great Physician and cares deeply for Missy and Fay. We stand with you in agreement, believing for their complete healing and restoration. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith.
